“Traverse” brings to mind mountain ranges in South West Tasmania. In particular, the Arthurs, as viewed from the Scott’s Peak dam end of Lake Pedder. To sit taking in the majesty of the range rising from the plains leaves me feeling in awe of this place. There’s a walking track taking you along these mountains. As you can see its an up and down journey, at times prone to wild weather as represented by the linear textures in this painting.
