This series of two small landscape inspired paintings was a joy to create. Can you feel it? They’re an exercise in play and chance. Both works are cheerful and lively with interesting textures and details. I chose these colours for their compatibility and bright nature. My paintings lead me to their conclusion, not the other way around. Titles present themselves based on each work’s appearance and how I feel about each one when we reach the point where I’m happy to stop.
